Maison Artsen – ASENG (SAS)
Article 1 – Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (the "Terms") govern all sales of products made on the Maison Artsen website (maisonartsen.fr and maison-artsen.com), operated by ASENG (SAS), to consumers.
Any order placed on the website implies full acceptance of these Terms. They do not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in your country of residence.

Article 3 – Products
The products offered for sale are those described on the website on the day the customer views it.
Each product has a detailed description and photographs that are as faithful as possible. The photographs are not, however, contractually binding.
Article 3a – Intended users and safety of use
The products sold by Maison Artsen are creative hobby items intended for adults and teenagers aged 14 and over.
They are not toys within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2025/2509 on toy safety, nor of the equivalent rules of your country: they are neither designed nor intended for play by children under 14.
They contain small parts, fine tips and acrylic paints. They are not suitable for children under 14 and must be kept out of their reach.
By placing an order, the customer acknowledges having read this intended use.
Article 4 – Prices
Prices are shown in the currency of your delivery country, all taxes included, excluding delivery costs.
Delivery costs are shown before the order is finally confirmed.
Maison Artsen reserves the right to change its prices at any time, without effect on orders already confirmed.
Article 5 – Orders
The customer selects the products they wish to order and confirms the order after checking its contents.
Confirming the order constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
A confirmation e-mail is sent to the customer once payment has been approved.
Article 6 – Payment
Payment is due in full when the order is placed.
The accepted payment methods are those offered on the website through the secure Shopify Payments platform and/or partner payment providers.
Transactions are secured by encryption protocols that comply with current standards.
Article 7 – Delivery
Delivery area
Products are delivered to the countries offered at checkout (country selector on the payment page).
Delivery times
Orders are processed within 24 to 48 working hours.
Our products are made to order. Production and delivery then take an estimated 6 to 12 working days, depending on the destination, the delivery service and transport conditions.
In any event, delivery takes place no later than 30 days after order confirmation.
Transport
Parcels are shipped by several delivery services in France and internationally, depending on the destination country. Delivery costs are shown before the order is confirmed.
Article 8 – Right of cancellation
The customer has 30 days from receipt of the product to cancel the order, without giving any reason. This period applies to every delivery country and is longer than the statutory cancellation period in the European Union and the United Kingdom.
To exercise this right, the customer must notify their decision by e-mail to info@maisonartsen.fr.
Returned products must be unused, complete and in their original packaging.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, except where the product is faulty or does not match the order.
Article 9 – Exceptions to the right of cancellation
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of cancellation does not apply, in particular:
- to personalised or made-to-order products (where applicable),
- to gift cards.
Article 10 – Refunds
In the event of a compliant return or of a cancellation for late delivery, the refund is made to the original payment method, in the currency paid, as soon as the return is received or proof of its dispatch is provided.
Article 11 – Legal guarantees
The products are covered by the following legal guarantees:
Legal guarantee of conformity
In accordance with Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the customer benefits from a 2-year guarantee from delivery.
Guarantee against hidden defects
In accordance with Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code.
These guarantees apply independently of any commercial guarantee, and without prejudice to the legal guarantees applicable in the customer's country of residence.
Article 12 – Liability
Maison Artsen cannot be held liable for indirect damage that may arise from the purchase of the products.
In any event, Maison Artsen's liability is limited to the amount of the order, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Article 13 – Personal data
Personal data collected is processed in accordance with the Privacy policy available on the website.
Article 14 – Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer residing in another country, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
Article 15 – Consumer mediation
In accordance with Articles L612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the customer has the right to use, free of charge, a consumer mediator with a view to settling a dispute amicably. Before doing so, please contact us at info@maisonartsen.fr: most issues are resolved directly with our customer service.
