How it works

1. Place your order and pick the size and number of colors.
2. Send us your photo after checkout. A sharp phone picture is all you need.
3. We create your numbered canvas: your picture is split into areas, and each area gets the number of one paint color.
4. Paint area by area, from number 1 to the last one, then hang your painting.

Which photo works best?

Choose a sharp, well-lit photo where faces are large enough. A single face or a pet looks great on 12×16" (30×40 cm). For a couple or a family, go for 16×20" (40×50 cm) or larger to keep the details. Skip blurry, dark or backlit photos.

Which size and how many colors?

• 12×16" (30×40 cm): one face, one pet, a first try.
• 16×20" (40×50 cm): our most popular size, for a couple or a family portrait.
• 20×24" (50×60 cm) and 24×32" (60×80 cm): group photos and detailed landscapes.

With 24 colors, your painting stays easy to paint. With 36 or 48 colors, it gets closer to the photo, with more areas to fill.

What's in the kit

The pre-printed linen canvas with your numbered photo, all the numbered acrylic paints, brushes, a color reference sheet and wall hooks. You can also get the canvas stretched on a wooden frame.
