How to pick an easy kit

  • Size: a 6×8" (15×20 cm) mini canvas takes one evening.
  • Number of colors: on a large canvas, 24 colors means larger areas.
  • Design: clean shapes and flat colors rather than faces and shading.

Where to start on the canvas

Start with the dark colors, then move to the light ones, because a light color doesn't cover a dark one well. Paint from top to bottom so your hand doesn't rest on wet paint. Close each pot after use.

What if I paint outside the lines?

Let it dry, then paint the right color over it. Acrylic paint covers well.
