Product description

The painting

With this complete paint by numbers kit, you paint two tigers sitting up in bed against white pillows, on canvas. One holds a slice of pizza, and a tray on the red duvet holds a pizza, croissants, glasses of orange juice and a jug of milk. Two bedside lamps light a dark green wall. Everything is included: the numbered canvas, the paints and the brushes.

The details

  • Level: advanced. Small areas and lots of shading: it takes a little patience.
  • Colors: warm tones, bright colors.
  • Style: modern illustration.
  • Sizes: 12×16" to 24×30" (30 × 40 cm to 60 × 75 cm).
  • Number of colors: 24, 36 or 48. The more colors you choose, the smaller and more numerous the areas, and the more detailed the painting. With 24 colors, the areas are larger and the painting goes faster.
  • Canvas: rolled, or stretched on a wooden frame, ready to hang.
  • Painting time: 6 to 12 hours for a 12×16" canvas.

Our tip

Leave the eyes for last and use your finest brush: they are what give the animal its expression.

What's in the kit

  • 1 pre-printed, numbered linen canvas, in the size you choose
  • Numbered acrylic paints, ready to use
  • 3 detail brushes (fine, medium, wide)
  • 1 color reference sheet
  • Wooden stretcher frame to assemble, depending on the option you choose

You don't need to know how to paint: every area has a number, and every number matches a paint pot. 30-day returns.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST BRUSHSTROKE

A few things you might be wondering.

I’ve never painted before. Can I do this?

Absolutely. Each area on the canvas matches a numbered paint pot. Just follow the numbers and take your time. There’s no need to mix colors.

How does buy 2, get 1 free work?

Choose any three eligible paint by numbers kits. Mix sets of 4, sets of 6, and large canvases. The lowest-priced kit is free, and you can choose different options for each one.

What’s the difference between rolled and stretched canvas?

Rolled canvas is painted flat and can be framed when you’re done. The stretched-canvas option includes wooden supports: mini sets come with frames to assemble, while large canvases arrive already stretched.

Do I need any extra supplies?

Your canvas, paints, and brushes are included. Just grab a cup of water, a cloth, and something to protect your work surface.

Does this make a good gift?

Yes! Everything is included, and no experience is needed. Give someone a kit to enjoy, or paint it yourself and give them something handmade.
